HOW TO EXPAND CHART AXES IN thinkorswim CHARTS?

Expanding the Price Axis

In order to display more room on top or bottom of the chart, one most expand the price axis. This allows room to display labels at the top and/or corporate action at the bottom.

To expand the price axis follow these steps:

1. In Charts, select Settings.

2. Then go to Price axis.

3. In the Expansion area:

you can change the 0 % to your liking

4. Select Apply and OK

Expanding the Timeline Axis

In order to display more room right side of the chart, one most expand the timeline axis. This allows room to display extensions of studies, like Gap Zone, instead of studies blocking chart data.

To expand the timeline axis follow these steps:

1. In Charts, select Settings.

2. Then go to Time axis.

3. In the Expansion area:

you can change the 0 to your liking

4. Select Apply and OK
